Martín De Mucha Flores
Martin is a proud Chicano, father to two beautiful children and husband to an extraordinary wife. Born in Woodland, CA and raised in Madera (just North of Fresno), Martin is the son of first generation college students and grandson of farm workers. He has a long personal and professional history of his commitment to educational advocacy and community development. Martin taught Science at the middle school and high school levels, as well as Chemistry at four-year universities. His work experience also includes state-wide planning and implementation of College Going Culture and Climate that is relevant to students, inspiring them to see post-secondary options as available, attainable, and varied. Martin has an A.A. from Fresno City College and Laney College, a B.S. in Biochemistry from San Francisco State University, a M.Ed. in Education from the University of San Francisco and is currently in his final year of a doctorate program at the University of San Francisco. Martin loves music, food and cultura.
