Committed to advancing educational and career equity, Dr. Jennifer C. Villicaña, our Senior Policy Adviser and Associate Director of Organizational Development, guides policy analysis and implementation, oversees department-wide projects, including strategic planning and organizational development, and leads human resources and risk management initiatives. Dr. Villicaña's journey with CEP began as a work-study undergraduate student with our Pre-College Trio Educational Talent Search Program (ETS). She then held different roles within our Early Academic Outreach Program (EAOP) and Destination College Advising Corps (DCAC) before joining the CEP Leadership Team.
Dr. Villicaña is a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants and a Los Angeles native. She finds joy in spending time with loved ones and her fur baby, expressing her passion for music through karaoke and dancing, and embracing continuous learning. Her academic journey includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Chicano Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Arts degree in Organization and Leadership from the University of San Francisco, and a Doctor of Education degree in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California.
