An opportunity for a limited number of students to participate in UC Berkeley's wonderfully diverse intellectual, social, and cultural community by taking a summer class at Cal. Students must complete an application process through TAP prior to enrollment to have this opportunity to become familiar with world-class faculty and resources on campus.
Program Basics
After acceptance:
- TAP will enroll you in one summer class at UC Berkeley (during Session C or Session D) that is the equivalent of a semester-long Berkeley course.
- TAP will pay all registration and course fees. You will be responsible for all other expenses, including books.
- Receive Berkeley course credit for your work. Your grade will appear on a UC Berkeley transcript, which you will include on your transfer application.
