Folasadé (Sadé) Obisanya was raised in Stockton, CA as a low-income, first-generation youth. She is the first and only member in her family that went on to pursue higher education. Sadé is a proud Spartan, attending San Jose State University in her undergrad and receiving her B.S. in Public Relations with a minor in Communications. She has also obtained her Master's in International and Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco. Sade describes her educational journey as "tokenized" as she found herself being the only Black girl in her honors and AP courses. Sadé is inspired to break generational curses by helping students and emerging professionals from similar backgrounds fill spaces that may be unfamiliar within higher education. Prior to becoming a DCAC Regional Manager, Sadé got her break into college access with the Pre-College TRIO Program as the Math-Science Program Coordinator. She is a proud and active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
