The Transfer Alliance Project (TAP) is a cohort-based program that aims to address educational barriers and increase equitable access to resources and information for California Community College students interested in transferring to a University of California campus.
To participate in our cohort program, students must meet at least two of the following criteria:
- Low-income student (Eligible for Pell Grant, CA Dream Act, CA College Promise Grant, Calfresh/SNAP, Medi-Cal, etc)
- First-generation college student (Neither of your parents/guardians have completed a bachelor's degree or higher)
- Historically underrepresented in higher education (African American/Black, Native American, Chicanx/Latinx)
Participation and enrollment in our cohort program is based on satisfaction of the eligibility criteria outlined above and space availability.
If you are interested in joining or learning more about the Transfer Alliance Project, please fill out our Transfer Services Intake form and one of our Transfer Specialists will connect with you to provide additional information.
Students who are not eligible to participate in the Berkeley TAP program, can continue to benefit from transfer resources through our Community College Transfer Services program.
