Our Data Journey
As we navigate the ever-evolving landscape of educational access and equity, CEP recognizes the pivotal role that data plays in shaping our path forward. We take pride in the wealth of data we've meticulously collected over the years, aligning our indicators with our mission for educational access and equity. In the 2022-23 school year, our department's programs served over 27,000 students, with our program-intensive students receiving over 24,000 college acceptances. Additionally, our dedication to family engagement was demonstrated through over 640 family workshops held, with nearly 14,000 attendees.
We're committed to becoming increasingly data-informed in our practices and we’re exploring innovative ways to harness data to inform our decisions, refine our strategies, and better understand the needs of the communities we serve. Aligned with our vision for data, one of our most ambitious projects consists of creating a new department-wide data management system that will allow us to further analyze, inform, and amplify the work of our 10 college access programs.
