HIGH SCHOOL COLLEGE ADVISING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WEBINARS

UC Berkeley's Center for Educational Partnerships offers year-round College Advising Webinars designed for California college access professionals and high school counselors. They are designed to keep college access professionals informed while building capacity and sharing ready-to-use tools/resources.

  • August 9th: UC Application Tools (10am - 12pm PST)
  • August 16th: UC Personal Insight Questions (10am - 2pm PST)  - Lunch break 12-1pm
  • August 23rd: Common Application (10am - 12pm PST)

2024-2025 Series:  10am - 12pm PST

  • September 13th: Strategies for Effective Private College Applications
  • October 4th: CSU Undergraduate Application Overview & Tools
  • December 13th: Supporting High School Seniors After They Apply 
  • January 17th: The Importance of Career Exploration in College Advising
  • February 21st: Supporting High School Seniors Through the Community College Enrollment Process 
  • March 14th: Supporting High School Seniors in Accepting Admission & Securing Financial Aid
  • April 11th: Preparing High School Juniors for the Fall Timeline / Selecting a Major / Creating a College & Major List

Registration Information:

  1. Navigate to the registration page
  2. Click on the CEP College Conversation / Advising Webinar you wish to enroll in
  3. Click on the blue “enroll now” button
  4. Create an Account: If you have taken CEP online courses OR registered for the CEP/OUA College Access Symposium, you ALREADY have an account. If you can’t remember your PW, reset it.
  5. Enter the Promotion Code (if you have one - be sure to click on the “Apply” button) and then click on "enroll"
  6. When you register, it will have you sign up for a "class" via Canvas - ignore this.
  7. You will receive a calendar invitation with the Zoom link the Wednesday before the training.
