On Friday, January 27th, middle and high school TRIO students across the Bay Area had the opportunity to spend the entire day on the UC Berkeley campus!
The day’s events were nothing short of exciting, insightful and inspiring. Not only were students able to be inspired by their fellow TRIO students, but they were also able to enjoy interactive activities, such as writing letters to their future selves, going on a campus tour of UC Berkeley, and participating and winning prizes at a college knowledge carnival! Also, as a special surprise, TRIO alum and UC Berkeley’s ASUC president, Chaka Tellem, gave words of inspiration to our fellow TRIO students in attendance! TRIO Day was truly a special day filled with many learning and community building opportunities!
