Zefora Ortiz is from San Diego, CA and a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, she received her B.A. in Chicano Studies. She is the Transfer Specialist for the UC Berkeley, Community College Transfer Services in San Diego, CA. Her role is to connect with community college students who are interested in UC Berkeley and other UCs. She will help to connect students to the resources at their community colleges as well as those available at UC Berkeley. She is committed to improving educational outcomes for others.
